It started with one honest question before a 7am reformer class, and the stubbornness to answer it properly.
Toezy began in the small hours before a 7am reformer class, when Dezi turned to her sister and said: “Why is it so hard to find a grip sock that’s actually beautiful?”
Between them they had years of studio hours — Pilates, barre, yoga — and a drawer full of socks that worked but never felt right. Too thick. Too clinical. Never designed for someone who actually cared what she wore to the mat.
So they designed their own.
Toezy launched with a single style and a simple belief: everything you bring to your practice should carry the same intention as the practice itself. That a grip sock can be a genuinely lovely object. That the accessories can be as thought-through as the movement they support.
The collection has grown from one pair to eight pieces — each designed around how it actually feels to move, and tested through more reformer sessions than we care to count.

the two of us
Eight years of Pilates instruction and a background in product design shape Dezi’s obsessive attention to material quality and tactile experience. She believes how something feels matters as much as how it looks.
She is the one who asked the question that started all of this, and the one who wears every sample to a real 7am class before it gets anywhere near production.
Tahlia’s background in luxury fashion and visual merchandising gave Toezy its voice and its visual identity. For her, beauty and function were never in opposition — they are the same thing, expressed differently.
If a colourway, a ribbon or a single word of copy feels off, she is the one who says so before it ships.
